Synopsis

When eleven-year-old Gregor falls through a grate in his apartment building's laundry room, he and his toddler sister Boots tumble into the Underland—a subterranean world of giant, talking bats, cockroaches, and rats locked in an ancient conflict with the pale-skinned humans who live there. A prophecy links Gregor to a quest to find his missing father, and he reluctantly takes on the role of warrior. A fast-paced, warmly drawn adventure with real emotional stakes.
